Above is the first lemon i painted for Stephen Appleby-Barr's drawing & painting class. it was an utter disappointment. he wasn't mean about it but i think what he was trying to say was "learn2paint or gtfo", and so that week he said "MOAR LEMONS!" except we had to paint more like Lucien Freud. the following week i got THIS THING:
yes, i'm aware it looks like all the citric fruits had an orgy and this thing came out...

LOL! aww i feel the same way! : ( i usually blog to avoid the serious projects lined up. and i absolutely LOVE the citric orgy!! i bet it'll look awesome in the dark too!! <3 hahahhaha
